AFP-IC Scholarships Now Available
AFP Indiana Chapter Scholarship - Application due by May 16, 2014
The Association of Fundraising Professionals Indiana Chapter is accepting scholarship applications from AFP Indiana Chapter members interested in enhancing their fundraising tool box. This $500 scholarship is open to members interested in attending a fundraising class, but cannot afford it. This general professional development scholarship is designed to be open for members to pursue any training such as a class offered at the Center on Philanthropy, SPEA, a non-AFP class or seminar, conferences and workshops, and other educational opportunities. 2014 Indiana Philanthropy Day
The AFP-Indiana Chapter will have scholarships for the 2014 Indiana Philanthropy Day. Please check back in the fall of 2014 for more information.
The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy offers every AFP Chapter in Accord for 2013, of which AFP-IC is one, a Chamberlain Scholarship which covers the recipient's registration fee and travel, to the AFP International Conference to be held in Baltimore, March 29-31, 2015. You must be an AFP Indiana Chapter member and have never attended the conference before to apply for this scholarship. The deadline for this scholarship opportunity is October 3, 2014.
AFP Indiana Chapter International Conference Scholarship
AFP-Indiana Chapter offers a scholarship which covers the recipient's registration fee and travel to the AFP International Conference to be held in Baltimore, March 29-31, 2015. You must be an AFP-Indiana Chapter member to apply for this scholarship. Members are eligible even if they have attended the AFP International Conference in the past. The deadline for this scholarship opportunity is October 3, 2014.
Requirements for consideration of AFP-IC scholarships:
Applicants must live in the state of Indiana and be engaged in the practice or study of philanthropy. Applicants must be a current member of AFP-IC. Organizations may be awarded Spring and Fall Conference Scholarships in addition to AFP International Conference scholarships or Chapter Scholarships. A maximum of one Chapter, Chamberlain or International Conference scholarship per year, notwithstanding the amount of AFP-IC members in that organization. Organizations/individuals who have received scholarship funds for two consecutive years are not eligible in the third year.
