The Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP) currently is recruiting for the position of Advancement Associate. This position is responsible for managing annual giving and volunteer engagement at INHP. This position will be responsible for utilizing solicitation strategies that include email, direct mail, phone, personal visitations and volunteer engagement to raise annual support for unrestricted and restricted programs. This will be achieved managing an existing fundraising portfolio consisting of individuals and volunteers. In addition, this incumbent will be responsible for planning and executing donor stewardship and corporate and individual volunteer events. This individual will work closely with the Advancement Team and other departments to create and fulfill the donor and volunteer experience, from acquisition of new donors and volunteers to stewardship of existing donors and volunteers.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in non profit management, public relations, and/or another related field. In addition, at least three years minimum experience working in a previous fund development department in the following capacities is required: annual giving; volunteer management; direct mail; event planning and/or individual giving. Previous experience using fundraising and event planning platforms such as Raiser's Edge is preferred.
